SHORT BIO

 

A native of a small town in the Dominican Republic (Villa Altagracia), Kineli Russo pka Watatah [pronounced watatá], is an international urban recording artist characterized by his explosiveness and energy and his characteristic famous shout "Watatah!" which instantly transports a shock wave of electricity and fun to his audience, both through his studio recordings as well as in his live shows.. He defines his stage name as “Energy, Fire, and Joy”.

Presently, with an enhanced knowledge in dance fitness, The Fiah Lion has taken his game to the next level.  His music is a fans favorite in the Zumba and dance fitness community, songs like”Palo”, “Zumba Time”, “Sacudelo”, “I am Merengue”, “Yo vine a bailar”, “Remenea” and “Bunda”, have propelled his status as an international and crossover star.  Kineli continues to tour the world and has appeared in national powerhouse television networks Univision (Despierta America) and Telemundo (Un Nuevo Dia & Acceso Total). He has been part of the most prestigious celebration in fitness, the Zumba Convention in Orlando and has collaborated with lots of the big names in the process.
